  2. Tap Site settings

Using GPS Mobile

Your name — Enter it on the start screen. It appears on other users' maps when you share your location.

Start GPS — Tap 📍 Start GPS and allow location access when prompted. The dot in the top bar turns green when a fix is acquired.

Stats strip — The bar at the bottom shows speed, altitude, and accuracy. Tap it to expand the full dashboard and speed/altitude chart.

Layers — Tap ⋮ More → 🗺 Layers to switch between Map, Satellite, Hybrid, and NASA daily imagery.

Compass — Appears top-right once your device has a heading. Tap it to switch between North-up and heading-up navigation mode.

Sharing Your Location

Tap ⬡ Share in the bottom bar. A session is created with a unique link and a random name (e.g. "Red Fox").

The session name is locked while sharing to keep the lobby listing consistent. It unlocks when you stop.

When someone opens your share link they can join and see each other in real time on the map.

The GPS Lobby

📡 GPS Lobby lists all currently active sharing sessions. Anyone can join a session from here without a direct link.

Sessions are automatically removed when you tap Stop or after 10 minutes of inactivity.

Dropping Pins

Tap 📍 Pin to drop a pin at your current location. You can add a label and optionally set an alert radius — if another participant enters that radius you'll get a notification.

Recording a Track

Tap ⋮ More → ⏺ Track to start recording your route. Tap again to stop. Export the track as KML (Google Earth) or GPX (most GPS apps) via ⋮ More → ⬇ Export.
